The children seeking help at Lichtblickhof can often look back on many years of suffering. The illnesses they must deal with are severe and take a toll not only on themselves but also on their families. Its unique offer of therapy with animals and the available support for the whole family affords the children and their relatives a much-needed break from everyday life. It also helps the youngsters regain what for many has become a distant memory: hope and confidence.
